THE LIMIT – CAVEMAN LOGIC REVIEW
THE LIMIT – CAVEMAN LOGIC
S druge strane, When Life Gets Scorched je podosta u stilu punka 70’ih, tipa The Damned, dok je Kitty Gone u heavy blues stilu Blue Cheera.
The Limit is an American supergroup consisting of members Bobby Liebling (Pentagram) – vocals, Sonny Vincent (Testors) – guitar and vocals, Jimmy Recca (The Stooges) – bass, Hugo Conim guitar, João Pedro Ventura on drums from the band Dawnrider, as well as special guests, guitarists such as Fabian Dee Damners (UDO), Nils Finkeisen (Die Krupps), Paul Simmons (Bevis Frond). The album begins with Over Rover and Black Sea, for which the best description is purebred rock’n’roll. These days, the Stooges-type garage rock is leaning, while Human vs. Nature as vocals is Sonny Vincent. For Feeting thought and Caveman Logic the best description would be a blend of punk and hard rock, and in my opinion, Sir Lancelot and Life’s Last Night are the main hits on the album. On the other hand, When Life Gets Scorched is pretty much in the punk style of the 70s, like The Damned, while Kitty Gone is in the heavy blues style of Blue Cheer.
Although the album is dominated by a fierce rocker sound, we also have ballads such as Death Of My Soul and Enough’s Enough. In conclusion, all I can say is that it is a full-blooded, 100% rock’n’roll album, regardless of the fact that the influences vary from garage rock, punk to hard rock and heavy blues, which gives the album a special atmosphere, and the band itself make up veterans of rock music. For anyone who is a fan of rock or punk, this is an album for him.
